Liveon Roles and Editor Permissions

The following is a basic outline of the permissions. It might need to be updated in the future. It is ordered from the most restrictive role to the least restrictive role.

• Content Editor -
  • Can edit existing content
  • Can add new Events (Content Types)
  • This role is NOT able to add/remove blocks in layout builder, but they can edit existing blocks placed on the page.
• Content Contributor -
  • Can edit existing content
  • Can add new Events, Articles, Staff (Content Types)
  • Has the ability to add/remove blocks in the layout builder
  • Cannot create a new Basic Page (Content Types)
• Power User - Has full ability to create/edit all content types and manage layouts.
